Sadness, worries, anger, and guilt are normal feelings we human being experienced within related context. However, those feelings may overwhelm us to a point interrupt our vocational or social functioning. The ways of interruption could be vary. Low energy, distress, emotion disturbance, issues with sleep, appetite, and weight, cognitive dysfunction in memory, focusing and concentration, decision-making…etc.
By coping with those obstacles and reducing their influence, we are able to function on what we are pursuing in life. On the other hand, those feelings sometimes are not only related to the context at the situation, but also transfer from our past. It became a pattern that influence us repeatedly. Without aware or it, we lose the other possibilities; we cannot choose freely. By exploring and gaining awareness about ourselves, we are able to modify our thoughts, experiences, and behaviors into more satisfied way.
